Michelle Westholm (1975, Des Moines) is the daughter of an Evangelical preacher and a Mennonite baker. She grew up in numerous towns across the American Midwest.
With academic training in anthropology, religion and ethics, Michelle currently works as a philosophy and film teacher in international schools. She has worked in schools in Iowa, Mexico, Indonesia and, currently, Argentina.
She often works in conjunction with her partner, Mexico-based designer Vik Servin.
Michelle's work focuses on themes of gender, religion, politics and cities vs. rural areas.
